Running away.

Now I'm having a mixed feeling..

You know Howrah Rail Station? Yeah, that one besides the 'famous' Howrah Bridge.I didn't see that place for many months. Not that I missed it very much. But the moment I'd set my foot there,I remembered the last time I went there. The usual hustle and bustle, the same frantic anxious movements of people, the bookstalls displaying those typical lifestyle/coffeetable books/bestsellers, the foodstalls, some people lying on the rags - all these, it seemed, remained unscathed by time.

After looking at this for about 10 minutes, I feel so bored.

And sometimes I feel even worse... in other words, I get philosophical.

Oh yes.. by that time I'd noticed a new food plaza, but it failed to lift my spirits higher... probably because of two reasons. One reason was, at that exact moment I happened to look at my mother's stern gaze of disapproval and suddenly remembered the 1st rule of dietetics : Stay away from all the confectionary food items.

The other reason, I guess, had to do something with the head-spinning sickly smell of vanilla wafting fron the ground floor of that plaza.

But the story isn't over yet.

After some 15-20 minutes later...

My dear youngest aunt, fondly called Tanny, also T.P. to her nephews and nieces, finally reached there. She said, "There's still much time left.. let's go and search for drink X.. if we can't find it anywhere, then we'll check for drink Y as an alternative. Neither drink X or drink Y was available! So it had been decided that we'd ask for it later in that hotel we've booked. Then came the food part.Tanny said that we should indulge ourselves a little in eating for the sake of Holiday spirit. So we did!

Then came the first Nor'wester of current season.Yay! I'll discuss about it and the drinks X,Y,Z later.

Bye, guys!

P.S. Didn't I tell the feeling's mixed?
