The World of ~A~.
It has been more than two years after I met those characters. They weren't mine. But now they're in an indefinite period of exile as Naomi has abandoned them. I'm not sure whether she has totally disowned them... and for me they always will be her's.
Let's see whether its possible for them to enjoy a new life!
Pandora, Dorian, Viola, Nova, Val, Ruby & obviously... the white-haired assassin. Wait for me, ok?
~M.
Numb.
22nd July.
This Day I had a dream. A long dream, actually. It's absolutely impossible to find exact words to relate this dream to anyone. So I'll recall a shorter dream that I've had later.
20 long hours and I'm still thinking about it.
In the real world.. and in my imagination it must have been like this.
[A dark room. You can't see anyone. But you can clearly hear two voices. One of them sounds so creepy, maniacal and unpredictable whereas the other voice is far normal compared to that.]
Unpredictable voice : So you wanna play me in celluloid? Do you think you've it in you? One moment of ignorance, then you'll be like any other villain. One moment of overacting and you'll be nothing but a cartoon of me! Still you want to do this? Hmmm?
Other voice : Ya, I'm certain 'bout that.
Unpredictable voice : Can you imagine what it'll possibly take? Your fame. Your health. Your sanity. And... your life! Hmm...d'you know what I'm thinking now? We shouldn't settle for something less. Give me your life and I'll be with you. In return, you don't have to play me, you'll BE me. Let me remind you again...either you die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain...now you know what? Here's my card on the table. Its all upto you to make a decision.
Other voice : I've chosen already... I accept your offer. Let it be THE role of my life!
Other voice : The change! I like the change - I like it! (Laughs)
[Hearing the way his voice changes, you can assume that he is now able to change his voice from his own to the unpredictable, maniacal, demonic one effortlessly.]
The rest is now history.

Being Maytag.
Though I'm aware of this tag business, I can't say I understand it completely.
There's no chance that one will tag me... so, I'm going to try some questions myself and for clarification, I came across those questions in this nice guy's blog.
1. LAST MOVIE YOU SAW IN A THEATER?
Tashan. After seeing it,I promised myself not to see another Yashraj film without SRK for next one year.
2. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING?
'Mrs. Dalloway' by Virginia Woolf and 'Snow' by Orhan Pamuk, at the same time.
3. FAVORITE BOARD GAME?
Chinese Checkers, as it can be finished quite soon.
4. FAVORITE MAGAZINE?
These days, 'Graffiti'. Short and light. Earlier it used to be 'Anandamela', then 'Reader's Digest'.
5. FAVORITE SMELLS?
Wet Earth. Kamini Phool. Langra Aam. Gold Flake cigarettes.
It sounds too cliched, doesn't it?
6. FAVORITE SOUND?
Sound? I can hear sounds of relatively higher decibel, but they're not my favorite in any case!
7.WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD:
Helplessness. When you know it's not in your hands, but you still can see the mocking and pitying eyes of your 'friends'.
8.FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP?
"Ah! Wasn't I supposed to sleep a little more?"
9. FAVORITE FAST FOOD PLACE?
Hard to favor just one of them. So, I decide to be impartial and pass this question.
10. FUTURE CHILD'S NAME:
Can't think of anything but 'Sorshephool'. :P
11. FINISH THIS STATEMENT.
"If I had a lot of money I would... buy myself a glass palace.
12.DO YOU DRIVE FAST?
I don't have a driving license, and I doubt I'll ever have one.
13. DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL?
Is it you, or am I looking that retarded?
14. STORMS-COOL OR SCARY?
Obviously cool! During storms, I feel like I'm back in my own element. :D
15. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?
A toy jeep car, rather large and realistic, just like a model from Tata or Mahindra. In fact, I can remember that I had an ambition of possessing one such replica of all the cars available in market.
16. FAVORITE DRINK?
Any kind of drink that leaves a strong kick in my tongue.
17. FINISH THIS STATEMENT,
"IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD... add it to the time I already have in my hands.
18. DO YOU EAT THE STEMS ON BROCCOLI?
Stems! Yes...wait..no...er..I'm not too sure. :(
19. IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE?
Lemme tell you that I've a wish! If one day We'd to vacate the Earth and had to leave for the Mars, I may dye my hair purple on that day.
20. NAME ALL THE DIFFERENT CITIES/TOWNS YOU HAVE LIVED IN.
Purulia,Calcutta.
21. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH?
Tennis. You don't have eleven or twenty-two guys or gals to further divert your attention! :D
22. ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU:
No one sent this to me. But surely the person,in whose blog I've found those questions, can be counted? He's one of the most well-behaved and nicest persons I've ever met.And for this, I wish him that he gets all the happiness. :)
23. WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED?
Ashes and dust.
24. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE BORN AS YOURSELF AGAIN?
Sure. But with hearing intact.
25. MORNING PERSON, OR NIGHT OWL?
A mix of both.Actually that depends on the situation.
26. OVER EASY, OR SUNNY SIDE UP?
Didn't get the question. :S
27. FAVORITE PLACE TO RELAX?
My own bed. And in summer, swimming pool! :P
28. FAVORITE PIE?
Before answering this, let me taste various kinds of pies first .
29.FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR?
Chocolate. And when I feel I'm getting too familiar with this flavor, I just try tutty fruity...by the next moment, my love for chocolate ice cream comes back!
30. OF ALL THE PEOPLE YOU TAGGED THIS TO, WHO'S MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND FIRST?
Not sure, just a quick reply from both will do.
I'm tagging it to the now Toronto-baasini, and the famous Bengali Sumo-wrestler. ;)
Correction : I've realised just now that I was tagged after all by him . It was tagged to my other blog though! :P

Random Bit of Introspection.
PROCRASTINATION.
I re-realized that I really have this trait.
And my blog is a perfect example of this.

Some rickety old skeletons...
05th May.'02
- On that day I realized how much unsuspecting and vulnerable I had been.
11th Oct.'04
- Only this day has seen me crumble emotionally. COMPLETELY.Still, I recovered. Just because of NSR's unconditional love and support. And this day I realised that I had not found the mother in my own mother.
18th Apr.'08
- From now, I'll trust no one so easily.
Yet I hate no one.
Again, there are exceptions in this circle of promise. Perhaps those who really understand me, can feel it.
Ah well.

Running away.
Now I'm having a mixed feeling..
You know Howrah Rail Station? Yeah, that one besides the 'famous' Howrah Bridge.I didn't see that place for many months. Not that I missed it very much. But the moment I'd set my foot there,I remembered the last time I went there. The usual hustle and bustle, the same frantic anxious movements of people, the bookstalls displaying those typical lifestyle/coffeetable books/bestsellers, the foodstalls, some people lying on the rags - all these, it seemed, remained unscathed by time.
After looking at this for about 10 minutes, I feel so bored.
And sometimes I feel even worse... in other words, I get philosophical.
Oh yes.. by that time I'd noticed a new food plaza, but it failed to lift my spirits higher... probably because of two reasons. One reason was, at that exact moment I happened to look at my mother's stern gaze of disapproval and suddenly remembered the 1st rule of dietetics : Stay away from all the confectionary food items.
The other reason, I guess, had to do something with the head-spinning sickly smell of vanilla wafting fron the ground floor of that plaza.
But the story isn't over yet.
After some 15-20 minutes later...
My dear youngest aunt, fondly called Tanny, also T.P. to her nephews and nieces, finally reached there. She said, "There's still much time left.. let's go and search for drink X.. if we can't find it anywhere, then we'll check for drink Y as an alternative. Neither drink X or drink Y was available! So it had been decided that we'd ask for it later in that hotel we've booked. Then came the food part.Tanny said that we should indulge ourselves a little in eating for the sake of Holiday spirit. So we did!
Then came the first Nor'wester of current season.Yay! I'll discuss about it and the drinks X,Y,Z later.
Bye, guys!
P.S. Didn't I tell the feeling's mixed?
